If you're wondering about my tweets it's because:
1. I got cancer
2. Somebody made a memecoin which I supported b/c it generated $50k to support my treatment
3. I tweeted my support in response
4. People who are down from speculating on my cancer motivated token are mad ⬇️

A really fun aspect of the world building opportunities in Death Touch, the @Deadfellaz TCG, is that there will be many ways to include and involve the community. One of the more obvious examples is to turn community members into in-game characters. The first community contest to become a TCG card will be next week 🫡

Deadfellaz: The Undead NFT Project with Enduring Community Strength
Deadfellaz is a 10,000-piece generative PFP collection launched on Ethereum on Friday the 13th, August 2021, by DFZ Labs (co-founders Betty and artist Psych). Featuring undead, zombie-themed characters with a gritty yet playful aesthetic, the project quickly rose as one of the standout collections of the 2021 bull run, known for its strong lore, vibrant community (the “Horde”), and focus on long-term building.
From Hype to Substance
Deadfellaz delivered early success through high-quality pixel-influenced art, strategic partnerships (including Steve Aoki fashion collabs, Wrangler, and UTA), and utility expansions like the companion Deadfrenz collection.
The team emphasized storytelling, merchandise, and interactive experiences over short-term flips. Despite the broader market downturn, Deadfellaz maintained one of the most dedicated communities in NFTs, with holders praised for their loyalty and positive culture.
Current Status and Future Prospects
As of mid-2026, the collection maintains a resilient floor price (around 0.20–0.23 ETH) with steady trading volume. Recent developments signal strong momentum:
• Gaming Push: Partnership with SKALE Labs for Death Touch, a mobile-first play-to-earn Trading Card Game (TCG) targeting early access and broader Web3 + traditional gamer audiences.
• Innovation: Launch of Coldlink, a new tool for securely linking real-world assets to blockchain identities without risky approvals.
• Ongoing Evolution: Year 4 updates focus on “EVOLUTION” expanding IP, media, and interoperability while prioritizing community perks.
Deadfellaz stands out for its builder mindset in a maturing NFT space. With proven community resilience, gaming utility on the horizon, and tools that bridge physical and digital worlds, the project is well-positioned for renewed growth. In an era where execution and culture matter more than initial hype, Deadfellaz’s undead Horde continues to demonstrate why long-term vision often outlasts fleeting trends.
