It's been 13 days since our complaint about the Telegram channel that distributes prohibited substances, but @telegram and @durov still doesn't respond to any of our letters or messages.

@durov , your claims of "unprovoked" Western invasions are lies—Austria responded to Serbian terror in 1914, and the USSR, alongside Germany, invaded Poland in 1939 under the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
You conveniently ignore that Slavic states, including Russia, were also imperial powers seizing land. History is more complex than your propaganda.
Innocent users who claimed his usernames after the deletion (usernames get freed up) were blocked, and their usernames were returned to Pavel’s account.
This is the “freedom of speech” Pavel Durov champions—but he conveniently forgot to mention one thing: freedom of speech only when it suits him. And he’s stayed silent about this embarrassing incident.
We all know how @durov bragged about his team, saying: “Telegram is built by 30 engineers, doing what thousands at Meta can’t.”
But few of you know that on August 6, 2025, Pavel’s account was deleted by a hacker who gained access to his phone number and verification code.
Kind of ironic, right?
According to Telegram’s rules, once an account is deleted, it can’t be restored because all data is wiped forever.
Yet, just one hour later, Pavel’s account was back online like nothing happened.
@durov@elonmusk ohhhh, guys, you can see all the evidence of Telegram's indifference to prohibited content in our profile. if you don't care about the distribution of drugs on the such a big platform and other prohibited content (scam, copyright infringement), then we care.
Interesting take on medieval etymology — always refreshing to see history being used as a distraction technique. But while we're revisiting the 10th century, perhaps you could also take a quick look at the present day — say, the complete lack of moderation and unchecked illegal content circulating on your platform @telegram ?
Just a thought — maybe cleaning up the mess in your own backyard is a bit more urgent than educating everyone on the etymology of slave. Priorities, right?
@durov Mr. @durov ,
I sincerely hope that one day, your own set of revelations will come to light.
Your constant falsehoods about the safety of your platform and the "purity" of content on Telegram know no bounds.

Where is @DigitalEU looking?
Today, we managed to block a group that was distributing drugs on Telegram. It took us more than 7 DAYS to get the moderators to pay attention to a group that was violating not only Telegram’s terms of service but also the laws of multiple countries!
Where is @DigitalEU and @telegram looking?
@Klaus_Mueller It’s quite ironic that the public face of the Digital Services Act doesn’t even allow direct messages. Why does reporting illegal content online in 2025 still feel like navigating a maze of bureaucracy?
🚨 The official @aureportbot on @telegram — designed for Australians to report illegal content — is currently non-functional, just like the DSA complaint form.
We attempted to report a Telegram bot actively distributing illegal drugs. The complaint could not be submitted — the system is broken.
Meanwhile, Telegram remains a breeding ground for criminal content, including child exploitation, drug trafficking, and large-scale scams — with zero accountability.
This failure to act, coupled with a non-working reporting system, raises serious concerns and may constitute violations of international and EU laws, including the DSA.
We urge @ThierryBreton@vestager@EU_Commission@ARCOM_fr@BrendanCarrFCC to investigate Telegram’s continued negligence and non-compliance.

This is a violation of EU law.

Telegram is one of the world’s most popular messengers — over 1 billion users.
Its founder @durov constantly boasts it's the most secure, feature-rich, and responsive app on the planet.
But is that really true?
