This is an unconventional take. I feel podcast owners should have a duty of care to their guests. This episode shouldn’t have seen the light of the day, he sounds like he is under the influence.
Anytime I locked in, I see a glimpse of things I can be able to do and achieve if I keep going, but at some point, I betray myself for some pleasure and mess up my routine. I’m done with distractions. This is the last time I will ever betray myself again.

I didn't resign immediately I started making money online. I paid myself one full year salary before leaving my bank job.
A lot of people usually ask me how I was able to build my YouTube channel while I was still working as a contract staff in the bank.
The truth is, it wasn't easy, i resumed work by 7:30 every morning, as a contract staff, once it was 8 a.m, everybody submitted their phone. You don't see your phone again until close of business, which was after 5 p.m.
That meant there was no checking YouTube, no replying to messages, no editing videos, and no posting online while I was at work. Once I entered the office, my focus was on the job until closing time.
When I got home in the evening, I rested for a while, then by 8 p.m. I started working on my YouTube channel. Most nights, I worked from 8 p.m. until around 11 p.m., then I would sleep.
There were also days I woke up again around 12 midnight and worked until 2 a.m. Some nights were for research, while other nights were for editing because I still had to wake up and go to the office the next morning.
There were even days I edited videos until 4 a.m, by the time I got to work, sleep was still in my eyes, sometimes I would be struggling to stay awake in the office, but I knew what I was working towards, so I kept going.
I'm sharing this because if you truly want to change your situation, you'll have to make time for the things that matter.
Nobody is going to create that time for you, whether it's YouTube, learning a tech skill, building on X, or starting any online business, you have to deliberately create time for it.
One mistake I see a lot of beginners make is expecting results too quickly. They want everything to happen overnight. It doesn't work that way.
Every skill takes time to learn, and every skill takes practice before you become good at it, once you understand that, you stop chasing quick success and start focusing on improving every day.
That was the mindset I had. I just kept showing up consistently. I worked on it every day and every night until things gradually started becoming stable.
One thing I also want to point out is this: I didn't make money online today and resign from my bank job tomorrow. No. I had already been making money consistently for over three months before I resigned.
I also paid myself one full year salary before leaving my job because I wanted to know that even if nothing came in for months, I would still be fine. That gave me confidence to make the decision.
If there's anything I want you to learn from my story, it's this: stop comparing your journey to other people's journey. Build your own thing. Stay consistent and give yourself enough time to grow.
The people you admire today didn't become successful overnight. They kept showing up even when nobody was paying attention.
This is a new week. Take some time to plan. Do a self audit and ask yourself what is taking most of your time every day. Look at the habits that are slowing your growth and remove them.
Look at your circle too, if the people around you are not helping you grow financially, mentally, or spiritually, then you need to rethink that environment. If every conversation is only about women, men, gossip, or things that don't move your life forward, you're in the wrong circle.
If you're always complaining about being broke, start by checking the people around you and the things you spend your time doing every day.
Your daily habits eventually become your results.
One year from today, your life can look completely different if you start now and refuse to stop.
BIG CHRIS.
