Content creator and huge fan of pickleball, Weird Al, disc golf, and pro wrestling. Big fan of other things too, but those things tickle my fancy the most.
One of, if not THE, OG pickleball podcasts is celebrating their 100th episode tomorrow
Dinking Around with Eddie & Webby was one of the few places you could find pickleball content back when The Dink launched in late 2020
Their show fueled many of our early newsletter issues. Congrats on 100 @eddieandwebby 🫡
@sorrynotsorrypb Great suggestions! One area I especially agree with is having home/away games for MLP. There is currently little to no local/loyal fan base in cities that have teams. Regardless, SOMETHING definitely needs to be done to help fix that.
@MaggieMaeRem That is crazy! I feel like for every step forward made by PPA/MLP, stuff like this happens and is like taking two or three steps back... Do they want pickleball taken seriously or not? At this point, I am genuinely not sure.
@ZaneNavratil@PPAtour I prefer pro #pickleball events in smaller venues. In my opinion, a majority of the tournaments should be at smaller, more intimate, venues. If only a select few are at huge venues each year, it will make the big ones feel more important and meaningful.
@Pickleball A brutally honest look at the history of USA Pickleball (formerly USAPA) would probably make for a very interesting story. Especially leading up to the current state of affairs.
Here is a preview for episode 69 of the Dinking Around With Eddie and Webby #pickleball#podcast. It features our favorite #pickleballmemes of the week (shout out to @sorrynotsorrypb and Friday Pickleball), and we were joined by @AndreaRemynse to chat about the Beer City Open.
