You don’t even need to have an upwork or fiverr account before making money as a freelancer

Join Facebook groups, especially if you are into designs and visuals. E-commerce is a visually-driven business, join their groups. Some local businesses have an active Facebook groups too

Now this is the tactic, don’t join anything related to “writing” groups if you are a writer. You will be competing with a thousands of writers like you

Find a niche and join. If you are into content writing or social media management, you can join groups like:

- Financial consultants
- Accountants
- debt recovery
- Dentists
- Cosmetic surgeons

Don’t spam. Just post a couple of listicles and “how to” posts

To get a group to join, use niche + location. E.g, dentists Melbourne

P-S: “The cult of job” group on Facebook is one of the fastest ways to get your first client if you are a freelance writer

Perfect for people looking for paid gigs and internships

Are you ready?

Go to google and type this “Data analytics platform raises” hit the search button

Navigate to “Tools” and filter to past month

Google will show some data analytics platforms that raised funding within last month (that’s the essence of filtering with tools)

Now, this is where it gets interesting

Open an excel sheet and enter the names of these platforms. I will start with at least 50.

Go to LinkedIn and start connecting with the decision makers in each of these companies. Always works for me. Try it this weekend
