@sdrbigshow@birdchadlouis Where does scripture say that “Baptism is a public declaration…?”
We are part of the church, we are spiritual and we are physical. The church is therefore both as well.
@ktowne89@AiG Actually I think it’s good to…
-Love God
-Love your neighbour
-Pray
-Not be angry
-Be considerate to your wife
-Be compassionate
-Be humble
-Love your wife
-Care for your children
If you want to be a Biblical man, here are a few texts to read and follow…
Matthew 22:34-39 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
1 Timothy 2:8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.
1 Peter 3:7-8 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
Colossians 3:18-21 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
Ephesians 5:25, 28 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

If you read further in Ephesians you will see this….
Ephesians 4:26-27 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
Don’t let the devil get a hold of you, hold fast to the salvation won by Jesus on the cross ✝️
They receive it with joy…it isn’t fake or untrue, unfortunately it just doesn’t last.
Matthew 13:20-21 “The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.”
