The problem with reading the entirety of #started#StrangeNewWorlds#Asylum by @unamccormack in a weekend is that now I need to decide what to read next. Bloody good read though. Proper Trek.
This morning, I did the Siege mission in @dragonage#veilguard and that was the most intense thing since the suicide mission in #masseffect 2. Magnificent job @bioware absolutely loving this game.
Just found some notes from a few years ago about a board game. Concept: "Dungeon Crawler" but set in #DoctorWho universe and you play as Dalek Killers. "Doctor Who: Exile DK" was the title. Obviously couldn't do this in reality cos ... licencing. @BBC@BadWolf_TV
You k ow when there's a thing. But part of the thing is Bellshill because of a third party. And your thinking .. could I do the thing without the bullshot thing? but then there's costninvolved? ... So ... that.
Had to skip through the James Dyson bit in #rickstein's latest series. Can't watch a man who extoled the benefits of brexit and then immediately moved his business out for the UK when brexit happened.
Traitor.
@PeteRogers and so on. As software engineer, I am the most at risk. Purely because code is objectively more easily produced by an algorithm. But I don't fear it. I welcome the use of another tool in the box.
@PeteRogers I completely agree that people who sell works (frankly plaguerised) via AI is a thing that should be cranked down on, but often as a prompt it can be invaluable. Tools are tools. Despite advances in computing we still need (and it is obvious when people ignore this) copy editors
@PeteRogers And at the point where it CAN do more... I would argue the intelligence is no longer artificial. The ability to create is something that comes from loved experience. Be that art, writing, coding or anything else.
I have to say that catching up and chatting stuff with @GeekSyndicate is always a joy. #DoctorWho episode recorded and maybe an autumnal treat being planned. #nothingisforgotten
