@mgtruth Im going to end my discussion here. There is so much I can say but I won't. Until you have taught in a modern classroom, engaged with the students on a daily basis - I doubt you would understand where I'm coming from. I wish you well.

@mgtruth You have to ask various SLT what had to have happened that led to such measures - because no school implements certain rules just for the craic. For example I know of at least 3 occasions of boys wrecking toilets/urinals during class time. Meaning no-one can use them.

@mgtruth And we dont make them hold it. If a kid is struggling to sit still then they are allowed to go. We are humans at the end of the day; we make judgement calls in the moment. Kids also lie - been in this job a long time. Some kids just want a chance to doss about the toilets.
