There was the castle rock thing I retweeted earlier, and also another video I watched on YouTube where a guy got a tour of Ubisoft and at one point they were playing both the og and retold at the same time, and they were staying synced up.
It’s an art style problem, not gameplay.

I think Rayman legends retold suffers from the same things as Sonic superstars, where the gameplay is basically 1:1, but the 3D art style and it being a visual downgrade in many aspects is throwing people off and making them see problems in the gameplay that just aren’t there
