That was a championship drive by Miami. I want to see our local analysts and podcasters break it down and laud every minute of it. 27-13 with 12 minutes left, Miami pounds that ball for about 6 minutes and gets that backbreaking TD. That’s elite football. Beautiful thing.
“Go home and get your fucking shinebox” type football being played by Miami. They basically told Clemson to sit down when they pee on that drive #Canes
I was a big Herbert over Tua guy back in the day. Always thought Herbert would be what Tyler Shough is turning out to be. Truth is Herbert as of right now is a bottom 5 QB. And so is Cam Ward unfortunately. The homer Cane in me can’t lie anymore. These guys are playing unacceptable professional football. Showing no signs of elevating.
I think the hope among the staff is as the schedule gets tougher they’ll have a few games of experience and molding together under their belts. There’s certainly a drop off but there’s talent/potential.

Canes up 45-6. My toddler son and 8 year old nephew played baseball inside the house which is kinda prohibited here but it’s all good. My beautiful wifey probably slightly annoyed at my alcohol intake but she still loves me. Life is good 🥃 🍻
For the last 20 years or so, the Marlins have always been the long, opening act for the main event, which is Football Season. Some acts have had me disconnected by early June but this season, they did their job and kept me interested until a couple days before college football starts. We can say what we want about their ownership, front office and questionable managerial decisions but those guys are scrappy. Hopefully they’ll add pieces and continue to improve in 2028.
Favoritism, entitlement etc had been a huge part of the problem from 2005 till around a couple seasons ago. Seems like this regime has weeded that out and they deserve the benefit of the doubt when it comes to who starts/plays.
Daylyn Upshaw possibly starting has some Miami fans peeved. Is this because he's not from South Florida, and beat out a guy from the local area? My view is that this staff plays to win, not a game of politics. If they think he's the guy(and so does Mensah) -- then he's the guy #Canes
Well said. A lot of current and former athletes across the major sports have broken this code on social media outlets and podcasts etc.
Everyone loves a good story but some of the things these guys let out seem a little too intimate. Maybe an attempt to stay relevant, engage in clicks for revenue but many souls have been sold for clout. When locker room/clubhouse stuff is not as exclusive it takes away from the brotherhood that’s supposed to be instilled.
There’s a bunch of old school real “baseball” JV HS and middle school coaches in miami that would do a better job managing UM and the marlins than JD and McCullough #Canes#Marlins
