I just bought 13 @bywassies in anticipation of the airdrop of $PUMP which I believe will be one of the or the biggest memecoins on @Blast_L2 and launched on @ThrusterFi

In this post I will explain my thesis and why it might be beneficial to at least buy one Wassies

So recently @bywassies shared their vision going forward and in that post they also shared they will be launching $PUMP and distribute it in a way that’s isn’t what we are used to. Normally the cabal gets all the presales, the KOLs get them and the rest needs to fight for leftovers.

This time its different, they decided to give 80% of the $PUMP supply to @bywassies holders and exclude all the team related NFTs (over 3000 of the 9600).

Besides that they will give away supply to @pudgypenguins holders, @Blast_L2 bridgers and for MEME contests.

So after making a huge bullish post on BLAST, I decided to deep further into the ecosystem and ended up with PUMP.

I talked a long time with Loomdart and he helped me crack the math.

So there are some bonuses in play:

A normal wassie counts for 1
An outcast counts for 1,5 (1000 of them)
A couch counts for 3 (250 of them)
A golden loomlock counts for 5 (30 of them)

So there are around 6600 Wassies that are eligible for the airdrop. When we use the bonuses we come at the following number:

6600 - 1000 (outcasts ) + 1500 (outcasts x 1.5) - 250 (couches) + 750 (couches x 3) + 150 ( golden*5) = 7750

So now we know the total eligible supply, the airdrop can be seen in 3 ways:

Wassies that have been held since 1 January 2024 (the first snapshot) if they hold until the second snapshot (a week before Blast launches. They get 50% from snapshot 1 and 30% from snapshot 2.

Wassies for Snapshot 2 get 30%, however there is a NewWass bonus:

Any existing address with sufficient transaction history (We will be checking to make sure you're a real person, google form coming soon) that becomes a new Wassies ByWassies NFT holder before the date of the 2nd snapshot will receive a 40% bonus in PILL. This will follow the same multiplier standard as the first snapshot, Wassies 1x Outcasts 1.5x Couches 3x, goldenloomlocknft holders 5x.

(applicable to only one Wassie per address)

Sybil will be punished.

And number 3 is Wassies holders that buy more wassies, or buy more than one, they get the 30% for Snapshot but no bonus.

Soooooo…. Lets look at the numbers at a $ 100m marketcap

Option 1 gets you into snapshot 1 and 2 for a total of 80 %. Which means $ 100m x 80% / 7750 = $ 10,322 per Wassie around 4-5 ETH.

Option 2 gets you into snapshot 2 but gets you a bonus of 40% just applicable for 1 Wassie. Which means $ 100m x 30% * / 7750 = $ 3,870 x 40 % = $ 5,419 per Wassie around 2.3 ETH.

Option 3 gets you into snapshot 2. Which means $ 100m x 30% * / 7750 = $ 3,870 per Wassie around 1.6 ETH.

So the snapshot already happened. So to get eligible for the airdrop of $PUMP rn is to go for option 2, buy 1 Wassie and follow instructions for the bonus (https://t.co/QJDAYJLOrr)

With a Wassie being traded around 0.9 ETH this might be a nice opportunity, imagine it being the first 1 Billion MEMEcoin on BLAST, than your airdrop in option 2 would be around $ 54,000 / 23 ETH. Besides that obviously Wassies will go down a bit after snapshot, but the team has many plans going forward, so owning a Wassies on its own probs will be smart as well.

You could just go for buying at launch obviously. Which will be part of my tactic as well if the marketcap is low enough.
