Sent one of my invites to my friend. Really like the environment so far, come check out the vibe! @PlayEVEVanguard#EVEVanguard#EVEOnline https://t.co/ilEr65RoVV
This solar energy farm in Australia is made up of more than 1 million solar panels. It will produce enough energy to power over 200,000 households.
We have so many solutions. Implement them. #ActOnClimate#climate#energy#renewables
What a symbol for US decline! While July 4th parades had to be canceled due to extreme heat 🥵, while China and most of the world invest in renewables as they’re the cheapest, the US Energy Secretary is ‘thrilled’ to regurgitate fossil fuel propaganda. 🤯 #globalwarming
China has more skyscrapers than the rest of the world COMBINED
But we’re constantly being gaslit that capitalism delivers the most prosperity
And you can tell this is garbage because even most of the pro-capitalism accounts have to use pictures of old skyscrapers like the Empire State Building to try to demonstrate the success of capitalism
No hate on that building by the way. I like art deco.
But let’s be real. We haven’t had much of a renaissance in construction in the West since that building was constructed in the EARLY 20th century. Almost 100 years ago.
We’re cooked.
At this point, North Korea is building more art deco skyscrapers. And no, I’m not exaggerating. Check out the new constructions in Pyongyang just the last few years.
And it’s worth noting, China built almost all of these skyscrapers in the last few decades. More than half of every skyscraper in the world was built in China since the US let itself go
In China they believe houses are for living in not for speculation or profit. It has resulted in 90% of Chinese people owning their homes while people in the U.S. struggle to pay rent.
China also invests in social housing while the U.S. government gives money to for-profit real estate developers to build “affordable housing” that is NOT actually affordable.
My mom had to wait THREE MONTH for an EMERGENCY dental procedure. We had to buy her under the table anti-biotics from another country so she wouldn't kill herself from the pain, waiting for an EMERGENCY dental procedure. IN THE USA. SHUT THE FUCK UP. THIS COUNTRY IS SHIT.
Holy sh*t, EVERY LAST WORD that Michael Steele said here! 🔥 🔥
He blasted trump and Republicans for trying to sell Americans a bunch of bullshit on Communism.
"Who's buddy-buddy with all the big name Communists in the world? Donald trump."
The Dalton Highway. One of the last untouched corridors in America.
414 miles of Alaskan wilderness. Caribou migration routes. Rivers so pristine they're famous for grayling and Dolly Varden fishing found almost nowhere else.
Land Alaska Native communities have depended on for generations.
For fifty years, it was federally protected - kept out of state hands on purpose.
Not anymore.
Congress used a law called the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to kill the protection. Until October 2025, this law had never once been used against a land management plan in nearly 30 years.
Since then, Congress has used it again and again — Montana, Alaska, Wyoming, North Dakota. In January, they set their sights on the Boundary Waters. Now it's the Dalton Corridor's turn.
Here's what makes this permanent: once Congress does this, the agency is legally banned from ever writing a similar protection again. Not paused. Not under review. Blocked, unless Congress itself reverses course.
With the protection gone, 1.4 million acres were handed to the State of Alaska. The plan: a 211-mile private mining road - gated, guarded, closed to the public every single day of the year.
To be clear: the Dalton Highway itself isn’t closing. Alaska has owned and maintained the road since 1979. What changed is the land beside it — the wild corridor bordering the highway, will no longer be federally protected. And now, Alaska is already planning new roads to branch off the Dalton into that land — including the 211-mile Ambler Road, cutting straight into the Brooks Range.
It would cut through caribou migration routes. Disrupt rivers that support world-class fishing. And by the government's own admission, restrict the subsistence hunting and fishing rights of Native villages who have depended on this land for generations.
Ten environmental groups are suing. Alaska's response: try to get the case thrown out before a judge can even rule on it.
Who does a "permanent energy corridor" actually serve, if the people who've lived off this land for generations are the ones locked out of it?

In 1985, Carl Sagan told Congress that continuing to burn fossil fuels will increase global temperature, cause climate change, melt glaciers and ice sheets, and cause sea level rise. Imagine if we had listened to him them.
No time to wait. #ActOnClimate#climate
