@educator4ever36 But I agree that one some instances grade inflation is problematic. I've seen course grades at a 60% be shown as a B recently, and that is a bigger problem in my opinion. The migration of grade cut off percentages

@educator4ever36 Testing competency via standardized exams is not always the most effective means of testing competency. Some kids just don't test well. If they're passing core competencies via course completion, that still measures their abilities.

@xoMommyDearest @educator4ever36 In my experience, the only children teachers are feeding are the ones who don't have food. If a child doesn't have food, the primary responsibility is on the parents, but the secondary responsibility to pick up their slack is on the schools.

I've got a quarter of a decade teaching, and I can tell you from experience that White kids do just as much dumb stuff as the other kids.
