To @paritytech
I am tired of the endless cycle of demos, prototypes, proof-of-concepts and promises.
At Web3 Summit there was PoP, Playground, AI agents, ticketing, payments and more. The technology looks incredible. Nobody is questioning the engineering talent.
What I am questioning is why we are still having the same conversation years later.
Don't tell me it is coming to a testnet.
Don't tell me it is coming soon.
Don't tell me there will be another OpenGov proposal.
Don't tell me there will be another curator group, working group or treasury-funded initiative that will somehow get this over the finish line.
The problem is not governance.
The problem is not funding.
The problem is not ideas.
The problem is execution.
Parity built this technology. Parity understands this technology better than anyone. If these products are important for the future of Polkadot then Parity needs to own the responsibility of getting them into the hands of users.
Because the market has already spoken. While we celebrate what Polkadot could become, the market continues to value what Polkadot is today.
I don't want another vision.
I don't want another PoC.
I don't want another promise.
I want timelines.
I want accountability.
I want products on mainnet.
I want users.
I want adoption.
Enough demos.
Ship.
Now that @paritytech is shifting from protocol building to product building, the release culture should shift too.
We should not have to wait for Web3 Summit, sub0, or one big yearly moment to see what is new.
If a product is ready in March, ship it in March.
If another is ready in June, ship it in June.
Create momentum around real releases, real users, feedback, iteration, and adoption.
The old model of saving everything for a big reveal does not work the same anymore.
Especially with AI speeding up development, the gap between idea, build, test, and release should only get shorter.
@Polkadot does not need more suspense.
It needs a steady drumbeat of products people can actually use.
In 30 days, we’ll finally get a glimpse of the future of $DOT thanks to our blockchain genius GAVIN WOOD @gavofyork ! Former co-founder of $ETH
We’re all eagerly awaiting this moment!
Let’s hope he drops an innovative bombshell for #polkadot
WE’RE READY 💣💥📈🚀
🇰🇷 BIG: One of South Korea largest bank Hana acquires a $670 million stake in Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, signaling growing bank adoption of digital assets.
The crypto market structure bill has PASSED the Senate Banking Committee with a bi-partisan vote!
Historic day for crypto and for the future of digital assets in America. Grateful for the countless hours from lawmakers and staff to strengthen this legislation. Big improvement from where we were in January on rewards, tokenization, DeFi, and CFTC authority. I'm proud we stood up for our customers in that moment, and the bill is better because of it.
Looking forward to a bipartisan law that cements the US as the world's crypto capital. Let's get CLARITY done.
The thesis from last month holds:
Polkadot didn't onboard a wave of users.
It became the settlement layer for non-human workloads.
Acurast, peaq, mythos, moonbeam, different shapes, same story.
The agentic era isn't coming. It's already in the data.
📊 DotLake
Zoom out:
Feb '26: 4.3M tx (~154k/day)
Mar '26: 60.7M tx (~1.96M/day)
Apr '26: 58.8M tx (~1.96M/day)
In two months, Polkadot's daily throughput jumped ~13x and stayed there.
Not a chart spike.
A regime change.
