I’ve never been as locked in as I was for the third act of Disclosure Day. Lots of claps after it finished, cinema is so back.
I’ve read some “reviews” on here, and I don’t say this lightly, but if you hated it, you can go fuck yourself☺️ #believe#wearenotalone#pleasetakeme👽🛸
Disclosure Day was fantastic. Sorry, films about empathy are in and this makes total sense for the guy who gave us E.T. Maybe Emily Blunt’s best performance to date. Spielberg GOAT

Since everyone is rightfully raving about Obsession, an incredibly bleak but arguably necessary and timely movie, here is my plea to check out Red Rooms, an even more bleak but necessary and timely horror that will crawl under your skin and refuse to leave

OBSESSION is the first legitimate Gen-Z horror masterpiece. I know internet discourse has diluted to hyperbole, but this is a true modern classic. Relentlessly intelligent, distressingly funny and it’s the first time since Hereditary I was left profoundly shaken. An all-timer.
Obsession was psychologically STRESSFUL & uncomfortable. The way they use lighting/blocking was SO effective. Nothing will top Inde Navarrette’s performance this year, she was freakishly terrifying. Love the new wave of horror directors, the future of the genre is in great hands.
I blame the parents. A part of childhood should be spent watching your dad's favorite violent movies & suffering through your mom's favorite songs in the car. That's how a living cultural memory is transmitted -- not via a perpetual bubble of age-appropriate content.
