Today I was at a party for Cedar Crossing, 250+ affordable homes by @bw_housing steps from the Roosevelt light rail station. Many of the homes are family sized with 2 or more bedrooms. 🛌🛌🛌

There were tons of families out enjoying music and kids in the courtyard play area!

Seattle needs a hundred Cedar Crossings across high opportunity neighborhoods across the city. We need to match or exceed our billion dollar investments in transit with homes and social infrastructure!!! #YesOnI135 @houseRneighbors

Cedar Crossing also has a bilingual child care center run by @elcentro72 & community space & available retail.

The Roosevelt Neighborhood Association & lots of great folks pushed @SoundTransit to deliver a station & homes in the heart of Roosevelt and now its real!!!

Last night HB1099 passed out #WAleg Senate Ways & Means Committee.

🚨However, the bill was scrubbed of climate mitigation actions, removing requirements that our fastest growing communities reduce GHG and VMT. It was even scrubbed of the term "climate change" repeatedly. 1/3
