@TrainerJEvans Always whatever you enjoy most/what you can play most commonly with others. If you like 06 more and know you can get games with the decks, go for it.
One thing I’ve noticed is everyone’s top 5 bug-types always seem to include most of the following; Scizor, Heracross, Scollipede, Volcarona and Golisopod.
Anyone got any faves other than these? Or does this theory check out?
@Nolan39566917@AxoIotIMan Dealing psychic damage to your opponent is fun and all but the blissey pp stalls itself which makes it useless outside of maybe locking in a choiced attacker
@Whimsicast Interesting list to say the least. There are good reprints, like dark Tyranitar and Scizor EX, but the lack of trainers is saddening. I think we could have cut Misty's wrath for Pow Hand Extension or Holon Transceiver.
@KylosWeb3 For real! I wasn't allowed to use YouTube until I was 13 and the only guide I had didn't explain shines at all. Some people just can't believe others might have different experiences from them.
People clowning on this but it genuinely happened to me as a kid.
Some time in 2010 a random Meditite was red instead of blue. I didn't know what was going on because "shining" pokemon were TCG exclusive outside of the red Gyrados. So I ran from it. I thought it was a bug.
The year is 2002.
Pokémon Silver has been out internationally for a year for everyone to enjoy.
You boot it up on your GameBoy Colour. Today is the day you catch Lugia.
But wait, something is different, why is he red? Must be a glitch in the game, Lugia is meant to be Blue.
You dont want your game to corrupt and lose the data. You turn the GameBoy off without saving, so you can go back to Lugia and try again.
Loe and behold, he's now blue. You're happy, you catch him with a Master Ball, you're not taking any chances, he's level 70, a beast in the late game.
Years later, you learn of a thing called 'shinies' in the Pokéverse. You recall your interaction with a red Lugia and go to check what colour it is. It's red.
Your heart sinks, you let it go, just because you thought it was 'a glitch'.
Never to be caught on Pokémon Silver by yourself again.
@lyleabner @2Materes Please let me know how you're getting any of them to their final evos without insane grinding outside of gible. You get these mons so late they will not evolve naturally so they might as well be locked to post game dude
