Four-year-old Ayesha asked her friends to gift presents to the Waitakere Hospital children's ward for her birthday.

Ayesha's childcare centre New Shoots Westgate also pitched in and over 50 presents were knidly donated.

We get excited when East Coast Bay Rotary holds its annual North Shore Taxis Drive 4 Life with support of Ryman Healthcare Ltd. This year the fundraiser was for a skin graft surgical instrument worth over $25k for North Shore Hospital.

A huge thank you to Kelly Nicholas who ran the ASB Marathon last Sunday!

She raised $2,704.64 for the Rangatira Paediatric Ward playroom at Waitakere Hospital. A ward for kids aged 0-14 who need overnight admission.

Henderson Rotary charity auction, held last Friday (Oct 19, 2018) at the Quality Hotel Lincoln Green featured 13 items, raised over $17,000.

Funds from the event will support the Well Foundation towards the rebuild of the Special Care Baby Unit at Waitakere Hospital.

A project to help those in need had these Kristin School students knitting for the first time to keep premature babies snug & warm. Over the weekends & school holidays they knitted 20 beanies - thanks to a combination of parents, nana, Youtube & KidSet.
