@elladorn_ Scorsese is just competent? Seriously?? This post must be an attempt to get clicks. If so, it worked and good for you! If you really do feel that way β yikes!!
@MugginsMcS I had a health scare 3 years ago, and it scared me because I like to think I'm invulnerable. The good news is the liver can actually heal and regenerate itself. With lifestyle changes, and a manageable diet, this condition is highly reversible. Good luck. π

@realSellers1@7s1n51@Pontifex Simply untrue.
Catholic Charities USA deployed hundreds of volunteer teams to help clean out, repair, and rebuild thousands of damaged homes. It raised $163 million for Hurricane Katrina relief.
@Earl_West_MN@ArrowFilmsVideo@JohnDukeWayne Peter Bogdanovich not only gave him a place to stay, but put $$$ into THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND. Sinatra put money into DON QUIXOTE. Several well-known friends acted for little or no money to help him. Lucy & Desi funded FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH. Desi tried to salvage IT'S ALL TRUE.
Question for fans of THE SHOOTIST and John Wayne. I have the @ArrowFilmsVideo blu-ray and it was 99% perfect β except for ridiculously heavy grain in the scene where he confronts Ron Howard in the barn over selling his horse. Is this true of all copies? @JohnDukeWayne#johnwayne
Thrilled to debut a webpage dedicated to the lost cut of Orson Wellesβ THE MAGNIFICENT AMBERSONS. It features a screenplay-style format of the 131-minute edit, as well as a PDF of the RKO cutting continuity. Also, photos & storyboards of deleted scenes. https://t.co/Vu4qX8q3QA
Fable Studio has commenced work on recreating the look and feel of the lost 43 minutes of THE MAGNIFICENT AMBERSONS using artificial intelligence. https://t.co/eSfhghqAw3
@MavrocksGirl It's touching that people are so fond of your dad's memory. However, this reboot won't erase his work and it may prompt a younger generation to seek out the original.
@yogoldsmith There is a cutting continuity, which is a 131-minute, shot-by-shot written record of Orson Wellesβs original, unreleased version, which was cut to 88 minutes by RKO.
