Congrats Highwood Hills Elementary on their new fleet of Strider Bikes! Thanks to All Kids Bike, Indian Motorcycle Dealership, and PLUM Catalyst, kindergarteners will learn how to bike in PE class. They’ll be zooming around in no time! #SPPSSafeRoutes https://t.co/GfoVS10TR9
Temps hovered near zero for #WinterWalktoSchoolDay on Feb. 1, but that didn’t stop St. Anthony Park Elementary from celebrating! A bus stop and walk event with a walk through beautiful Langford Park was a great way to get an active start to the day. #SPPSWalks#SPPSSafeRoutes
Walking school busses are a great option to support kids in walking to school. Get inspired by this great story about them from Charlottesville, VA, and share in the kids' delight as they discover things like spiderwebs on their walk! #SPPSSafeRoutes https://t.co/i34nQQO5bk

Lots of opportunity for physical activity at the John A. Johnson-Bruce Vento merging schools event last week. Children's book, "Layla's Happiness," was available, thanks to SPPL, in Story Walk form and the smoothie blender bike proved it's still a perennial favorite. #SPPSMoves

43 @SPPS_News@FrostLakeSpps students took part in a Fun Run at Minnehaha Falls. A bus was full with 65 family members and runners and 5 families followed in cars to support their runner. It was a great time! Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success for the students.
Last week staff from SPPS, @stpaulpublicw, @MnDOT, and @altafieldnotes installed temporary bumpouts at Bruce Vento Elementary, testing out a treatment to make it safer for walking and biking to school. Permanent improvements are coming in 2023! #SPPSSafeRoutes#SPPSWalks&Rolls
Time to be grateful for these busy workers. They may be mini in size but their importance extends far beyond honey. Get buzzing and support bees by planting pollinator gardens. #SPPSGrowsGardens
