@markeology This article has some good evidence-based strategies that could help with some ideas. "How to Enjoy the Benefits of Nature Without Ever Leaving Your Home".

@DrJaninaRamirez Best things that have helped me are: HEPA filters at home, rinsing out nose with nasal rinse, and looking at the pollen count in my area each day and wesring a mask outside on those days / limit being outside on those if possible, oh and a little bit of vicks under my nose.
@Becciend@YouAreLobbyLud My Mum wanted to swap to her N95 to a blue surgical mask because she finds the others are uncomfortable and thinks it's fine because that's what the doctors wear.
@Becciend@YouAreLobbyLud Where my Mum receives her cancer treatment, they never put HEPA filters in place. They were wearing N95 masks, but now back to baggy blues that hang around ears or under chins. Dr last week kept leaning his elbow on the desk and was resting his hand on his mask.
@Aster26372073 I arranged for one lunch to be outside, and team were (mostly) supportive. Other times if they're eating inside I wear a mask, order takeaway, chat while others eat, then work/eat lunch outside when back at office. If we're in a big wave like we are now, I'd decline and say why.
@BlairWilliams26 I have a selective sound condition (misophonia) and need to have at least one headphone in, often two. Otherwise I can't focus, at all. There's so many different reasons why people need to wear headphones!
@DALupton So disappointed to see that many conferences that offered virtual options during 2020-2022 have now returned to face to face, with either extremely limited or zero virtual options. I'm in the workplace health, safety, and wellbeing field too! Thanks for this resource.
@acweyand Low iron for me presents as a severe depressive episode. Thankfully the first time I presented to the GP about it, they ran some blood tests rather than give me antidepressants straight away. I had an iron infusion and felt hugely better 2-3wks later.
@binarythis Like others, I have my working days in my email signature. I also put an out of office on for my non-work day which has a colleagues details for if there's something urgent that needs to be followed up.
@BlairWilliams26 @Megasaurus_Bray You can subscribe for notifications of planned burns at https://t.co/DFQTjqCSja
They also show up on the Vic Emergency app
@BlairWilliams26@ToshiAkima I've been using these for 2+ years, have always found them easy to use and comfortable. No covid so far (touchwood 🤞🤞) despite being a close contact on several occassions.
@SaraSalehTweets Great... with the amount that'll add to my debt, I could pay for another unit or two. Yet another system that disadvantages people who can't pay upfront, and means the total cost of my course will pay wayyyy more than someone who could afford to pay upfront.
@BlairWilliams26 I gave up on wearing my hair down when wearing a mask as could never get it right. Then a few weeks ago another person shared a video of them putting on a mask with their hair down and it was so helpful! Share those skills! 😊
@DrEmmaBeckett Also, poke bowls. Again, so many different options. Pick a base (rice or noodles), pick a protein, choose some veg, add dressing, and something crunchy to finish.
@DrEmmaBeckett I'm loving rice paper rolls at the moment. Relatively cheap, so many different filling options, and they're quick and easy (albeit sticky) to make. Can eat them anywhere and add dipping sauces if want more flavour.
