I don’t feel sorry for those associated with Newcastle over Isak - maybe the players as it’s disruptive, at the end of the day Liverpool is bigger pull, also Newcastle were quite happy to take Gordon off Everton, instead of being stubborn they should’ve raided Liverpool
@rebeccafadila @Headteacherchat I personally think an experienced teacher should be able to cope without a TA unless it needed for SEND support, what I saw was an overeliance on a ‘class TA’ it’s different in early years or if it’s an ECT
If I was a Liverpool fan I’d be gutted but sometimes and this applies to. Things outside of football too, you have to let go of things, I think in his eyes it’ll never be like it was under Klopp, sometimes you have to try something new! Sometimes you have to accept that the good
After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, now is the time for me to confirm that I will be leaving at the end of the season.
This is easily the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life.
I know many of you have wondered why or been frustrated that I haven’t spoken about this yet, but it was always my intention to keep my full focus on the team’s best interests, which was securing No.20.
This club has been my whole life – my whole world - for 20 years. From the Academy right through until now, the support and love I have felt from everyone inside and outside of the club will stay with me forever. I will forever be in debt to you all.
But, I have never known anything else and this decision is about experiencing a new challenge, taking myself out of my comfort zone and pushing myself both professionally and personally.
I’ve given my all every single day I’ve been at this club, and I hope you feel like I’ve given back to you during my time here.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank everybody – my coaches, my managers, my teammates, the staff and our incredible supporters - for the last 20 years.
I’ve been blessed enough to live out my dreams here and I will never, ever take for granted the special moments I’ve been fortunate enough to have lived through with you all. My love for this club will never die.
@Blewyn@CymroRct Own ability 😂love that 11A* at gcse 3A at a level and a first at uni, but yeah I’d rather be able to speak both insecurely, my qualifications open doors outside of wales
@Blewyn@CymroRct So if you’ve already got that issue why add further to it, learning both woukd require a huge amount of home support which isn’t there anymore. I don’t want to cancel it, when I was in school it was a couple of lessons a week not the extent it is now even if they’ve made
@Blewyn@CymroRct Because whether you like it or not children are surrounded by English from an early age - PISA tests in wales confirm something is going wrong. No it shouldn’t but the levels children are coming in at are lower and lower - basic numeracy and literacy woukd be a better start
@Blewyn@CymroRct I would move there with that knowledge - families in wales often don’t have a choice and even when they’ve put children in the English stream there being taught Welsh daily - which for some is fine but often it’s not
