Hahaha the Sky Sports commentator still thinks Bournemouth are still only a point behind us despite drawing late on. Haaland has saved our bacon there!
Slot’s calm, balanced demeanour is now starting to look concerningly like acceptance of mediocrity and lack of a winners mentality as an established pattern of poor results. If Alonso is available and interested then the choice is a no-brainer and the club should be decisive now
Yes we should have scored 3 or 4 not counting the penalty miss and were mostly dominant as you would expect. But at times Burnley passed the ball around while we were defensively impotent - neither pressuring to win the ball back aggressively nor cutting off passing options.
At times it’s just far too easy for opposition teams to pass the ball around against us and create chances. Unsurprisingly after Konate almost scored an own goal came the equalizer. Yet more points dropped at home to relegation fodder… 🤦♂️
@indykaila Arsenal play Sat-Wed-Sat, Liverpool play Sun-Wed-Sat. Okay so we get an evening KO but still have a worse run of worse fixtures. Plus Liverpool play away to Inter on Tuesday. The fixtures are relentless, time for the injuries to stack up 🤕🩼
