The scariest thing about this Wemby invasion of the NBA is that he is a global icon. He has that Shohei presence and the ability to be infinitely marketable during and after his career. I wouldn't be surprised if he took a paycut to ensure the Spurs win. It's clear his goal is to be the greatest player of all time and he knows he can make money on the back end of his career.
