@SamCKx For what it’s worth, I think you’re bang on the money. Ironically many of the critical comments to your tweet simply show how right your assessment is!
@wildcourtpoetry@roguestrands Like these: poignant, touching, wryly humorous but without pretension showing relatable insight about situations (sorry - comment more pretentious than the poems but wanted to articulate why I like them!)
@EllieChowns Yes: it should work better. It would be nice to hear some practical suggestions for improvement instead of the continual demands without any of these!
@crimlawuk One quality that has not been mentioned is gravitas: none of the aspirants have this, yet it seems to me to be vital on both the home and international stages. Just as Britain was beginning to be taken seriously again….
@JamesCleverly Perhaps it’s the PM getting on with job he is elected to do, recognising that governing a country does not involve indulging people’s vanity.
@n_docs@JHCPAL@TyneSnapper What about Edlingham and Eglingham: only one letter different but often confused! (And there’s Ellingham as well to add to the mix)
´Wes has bottled it and caused massive damage and instability in the process’ quoted by another damage creator @ChrisMasonBBC . Many inexperienced MPs exposing their lack of experience and obscuring other issues.
@bbclaurak@BBCWales Speculation - not reported fact. Planting ideas that will swirl in the media, undermine and create confusion. To what end? And how does this help to deal with the national and international issues the country faces??
@PropJourn@marksandspencer Underwhelmed and confused! A discount used to encourage me to spend. The new system of encouraging spending in order to then gain a reward discourages me from spending in the first place!
