WMMS Athletics this week:
Softball home game against Carroll on Monday, 4/21 and an away game against Rolesville Middle School on Thursday, 4/24.
Soccer home against River Bend on Tuesday, 4/22.
Track home track meet against Zebulon on Thursday, 4/24.

This week our softball team has a home game against Wake Forest on Monday, 4/14 and an away game against Carnage on Thursday, 4/17. Our soccer team has an away game against Neuse River on Tuesday 4/15 and on Thursday, 4/17 the track team will be away against River Bend.

On Wednesday, 4/9 our soccer team has a home game against Heritage Middle School. On Thursday, 4/10 our softball team plays away at Zebulon Magnet Middle Middle School.

A huge thank you to the NCSU Vet Program for visiting our 8th grade Ag classes this week! Our students had the opportunity to hear from their staff and students, learning about large animal care, various career paths, and college programs they can explore.

Our Computer Science students visited the SparkNC lab at Wake Tech East! SparkNC empowers students to explore careers in high-tech fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence & machine learning, software development, and computer systems engineering.

On Monday, 3/24 the softball team will play away against Neuse River. On Tuesday, 3/25 the boys soccer team will play away against Rolesville. On Thursday, 3/27 we will have a home softball game against River Bend and an away track meet against Neuse River.

Our 7th graders had the exciting opportunity to hear from Chrissy Anderson, a local meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS) of Raleigh. During her visit, students learned about her role at NWS, weather patterns, and much more!

Our 6th grade Family and Consumer Sciences students were able to visit Meredith College to learn more about their program areas and careers related to Food and Nutrition as well as Human Environmental Sciences.

Due to inclement weather, the track meet and the softball game scheduled for today have been cancelled. The soccer team will continue to have practice today as planned.

On Monday, 3/17 the Softball team will be away playing against Rolesville. On Tuesday, 3/18 the boys soccer team will be away playing against Carroll. On Thursday, 3/20 we will have a home softball game against Heritage and a home track meet against Rolesville and Wake Forest.
