@bears_truther Swanson's deal sucks, BUT...Whether we have paid him $1 or 50 mil, the cubs weren't winning anything major in 23 or 24. Not contenders at all. Swason's contract is basically 5-year deal in my eyes, as the cubs officially became contenders last year.

I don't dislike Lamar, but he is objectively having the least clutch playoff career of all time.
