@ATTCares I got the unlock code from AT&T via support forums a little over a week ago, got the phone unlocked last weekend.

@ATTCares I haven't tried, because then if I did, then I'm subject to the other phone unlocking rules regarding duration of service.

@ATTCares Bad wording, I meant that if there was a manufacturer issue with the IMEI, then I shouldn't even be able to get phone service.

@ATTCares I don't really see how that's possible. It's an AT&T phone, the IMEI should've been registered when it was built.

@ATTCares By "the store" you mean Microsoft Store or AT&T? Microsoft Store can't help with AT&T unlocking, that's an AT&T function.
