@BowTiedBroke In addition, you have to have an understanding of tax treatment for second homes. GA & NC have rather favorable real estate tax treatment. SC will tax a second home many multiples higher than a primary residence.
Hey @onepeloton, I own a bike, tread and row. I just went online and purchased a second tread. You only gave me one delivery date which didn’t work for me. I reached out to customer service and they told me that date is the only one available.
Customer service then told me that my only option is to cancel or magically make myself available to accept delivery. I can’t believe you would rather refund me $3,000 then delivery a treadmill. This doesn’t seem like the service I would expect from a luxury item.
@dylanleclair Not enough liquidity in JGB's for anything of significance. Govt bonds are amazing collateral and easiest to deliver. Not sure anyone would deliver a long duration bond or an off-the-run bond. On-the-run bonds are all that matter.
@MadThunderdome Correct. Mortgage CPR has already adjusted. Interesting to look at ARM data. ARM’s have become a much larger part of mortgage market by dollar volume. Probably much higher than 2006-2008 but still super small. Car payments and unsecured consumer lending will be interesting
