The horrendous conditions of men in Gaza captivity, according to a male Thai hostage freed last week —
In the first moments after the kidnapping, his group of male hostages were led to an abandoned house. One Israeli, an 18-year-old boy was with them— a boy who he said he knew. The Palestinians began beating and kicking them. The terrorists calmed down on the Thai hostages but “did not spare” the Israeli boy, who was severely beaten.
About an hour after they arrived at the first house, they were put on the van again — which took them for another half hour to another house, inside of which was the shaft of a tunnel through which they were lowered underground.
Near the tunnel shaft they were beaten a second time and photographed.
Then they were forced to walk through a dark tunnel, which he said was about a meter wide - until they reached a small room without windows, which he estimated was 1.5 meters by 1.5 meters and was lit by a small light bulb.
Then another Israeli man was brought in. For the next two days the terrorists continued to beat them, and two days later the beatings continued - but were aimed mainly at the two Israeli men. The Israelis were also whipped with electric cables.
They slept on a sandy floor.
Their total food, which was shared among 6 men, was a loaf of bread twice a day, and two bottles of water.
Their toilet was a small hole in the floor of an adjacent room, and each time they were led to it by one of the 8 Kalashnikov-armed guards assigned to them. The same guards warned them not to talk to each other.
The conditions improved a bit after they were moved again about 6 days later, into a different room in the tunnel. They now had plastic sheets on which to sleep on, and the food now had nuts and butter, and eventually rice.

@PeterBeinart Jewish student: when you call for a violent jihad against me, I feel threatened.
Pro-Palestine student: when I look at a picture of a flag, I feel threatened.
THESE THINGS ARE THE SAME TO YOU?
Those murdered in the Sbarro bombing or any of the other bombings, rammings, knifings, shootings, etc. aren't available for comment on your idea that intifada is somehow peaceful..and I don't need to know what INTIFADA means in Arabic, in Palestinian it means to eliminate Jews wherever you can. They aren't shy about explaining it. Hamas just translated it for the world.
This was the damage caused to a school in Tel Aviv today by a rocket fired from Gaza.
But because it's an Israeli school and its students are Israeli children, this is not a war crime.
Did I get that right, @antonioguterres?
Let's confuse some progressive college students:
Two of the hostages Hamas kidnapped on October 7th were Aisha & Bilal, brother & sister, Muslims.
A few days ago, Israel has released 6 convicted Palestinians in order to get these two *Muslim* hostages back home.
Welcome back, Aisha & Bilal ❤️
Gaza has no power, but everyone has working phones
Gaza has no internet, but everyone posts videos
Gaza has no fuel, but they keep launching rockets
Gaza has no Israeli hostages, but they keep releasing them
You disgusting piece of sh&t @QudsNen!
Emily’s mother died from cancer, when she was just 2. Her step-mom was murdered by Hamas terrorists in Kibbutz Be’eri on Oct 7.
The girl in the video is her sister!
And you are shameless, disgusting, Hamas vermin!
"Hamas took the leg of each child and stuck it in on a motorcycle tail pipe to make a mark in case they escape, so they could find them.” He noted that the two children were drugged, and that “they treated them so badly.” https://t.co/t8h3RovFRF
