@TheZmanShow 1. To me it feels like the game has more weight. Both in story and gameplay, which I like. 2 is pretty great, but 3 loses me always around halfway.
It doesn't help that I find the worlds in 3 to be less appealing than previous entries
@PuzzleMindsa Thats how my roommate used to sleep when he moved into my place.
Course he stayed up all night playing CSGO and "bullying children" as he put it
It's impossible to live without supporting some terrible something on the other side of the world
Buy clothes? Support exploiting underpaid 3rd world factory workers. Same woth anything. Some company will have somw tie to somw government or organization that does bad things. But it can't be helped
That's why its best not to worry about such things and just do right by the customers. Make your product available
@GoNintendoTweet Plenty of shoot and ball gamers out there to keep it popular. But im terms of broad cultural value and awareness, Zelda simply takes the cake over cod
@Yin_NGMI Its not everyone's passion. For me, its what I've wanted to do since i was a kid
For a lot of people though, playing is just a hobby they enjoy
@Pirat_Nation The game runs on windows. And I highly doubt they don’t use any other Microsoft products in their office either.
This just seems like worthless signaling to say "Hey, we're on the right side" people who make games should just shut up and deliver a good product
@Genki_JPN@famitsu@game_watch If they're so proud of nintendo power enough to display, then why not bring it back? at least a digital magazine would be cool
@mariotwtconfess when the wii u came out I was real young and very excited to see what nintendo could do after seeing mario kart 8. as the years went on my hope in seeing anything good release flatlined 😐
I used to visit Kasai Rinkai Park in Tokyo all the time, sit on a bench near the water, and draw.
So when I started recreating real places in Edogawa for my game, its famous Ferris wheel was one of the first things I built. You can already walk up to it and take a ride.
Still early, look forward to more 😀
I’m recreating Tokyo’s Edogawa City in Unreal Engine.
The goal: explore the entire ward, street by street, and run your own businesses.
The roads shown here are already walkable in-game. Still early, but I can’t wait to show more.
@UriahVoltaire@oldmedia Grew up on a red SP and I actually still have it with me. The light screen was such a loved feature for me, I'd hide under the covers at night to play without my mom knowing lol
@REKID3SU That's not japan dude. Maybe old people care about that but it's not the reality of average people. Its just a social etiquette preference, not a hard rule people actually judge you for. It gets way overblown online
@Anjalikush0808 I was going to buy 15 bitcoin many years ago when they were dirt cheap. I told my dad about it and he assumed I was being a dumb teen about to get scammed out of money online
I think sometimes we go back to these games hoping to feel like the kid we were when we first played them. But we miss more than the game. We miss how life felt back then, the people we shared it with, and having fewer things to worry about. Playing again can bring back memories, but it can’t bring back that time.
At some point, we have to let ourselves move forward. It’s okay to love our childhood without spending the rest of our lives wishing we were still there.
That’s why sharing those games with someone new, especially a child, can mean so much. Watching them get excited, figure something out, or ask you for help gives you something new to enjoy together.
And years from now, they might remember you sitting beside them just as much as they remember the game. I think there’s a lot of meaning in that. Our childhood ended, but the things we loved can still become part of someone else’s.
