Alberta Premier Danielle Smith on mass immigration:
"Throwing the doors wide open to anyone and everyone across the globe has flooded our classrooms, emergency rooms and social support systems with far too many people, far too quickly."
Canada soon to Ban $10K Cash Payments — Fines Triple & 8 Years of Gov’t Control
The federal government is quietly amending the Proceeds of Crime and Terrorist Financing Act to make it illegal for Canadians, businesses, and even charities to accept $10,000 or more in cash. That means buying a used car, farm equipment, or making a large donation could now land you with fines of up to three times the amount spent — and the government can come after you for it up to eight years later. You also can’t deposit cash into someone else’s account unless you’re authorized. This isn’t about crime — it’s about control — and it’s an outrageous attack on your right to use your own hard-earned money.
The average Canadian pays half their income in taxes and fees to various levels of govt.
Well over 80% of all tax dollars are stolen by bureaucrats, pissed away or sent overseas.
That's roughly $27k a year per Canadian based on an average salary of $66k. Time to audit govt!
When it comes to Canada's lack of success in 2 straight world jrs: Any chance the academy system has hurt Canadian hockey? How many great athletes quit hockey because, more than ever, it's not affordable? How many great athletes stay away from hockey altogether? Lots of questions
"You people who come here, you love our way of life, you love our milk and honey, at least you could pay a couple of bucks for a poppy."
5 years ago, Don Cherry was fired from Hockey Night in Canada for these comments.
He was right then, and even moreso today. Even Ron McLean agreed with him at the time as you can see in the video. That is, before he stabbed Don in the back the next day.
The woke knee-jerk reaction of letting him go was a big mistake, Don Cherry is a national treasure!
His entire Remembrance Day segment was excellent, watch it here:
