Y’all, I’ve written about it multiple times and tweeted about it even more than that.
We are still underplaying the fact that a college football coach abandoned his team to take another job before the goddamn playoffs.
If you shrug this off, you are a moron. It’s not normal.
Of all the stupid SEC things that get referenced for generations, Lane leaving a playoff team and trying to torch the place on the way out the door may move to the top of the list.
Every single thing he said on that documentary was a lie.
Completely betrayed the school that gave him another chance at the highest level. Built them into a contender. And now leaving to start all over.
What a clown man.
This suggestion that Ole Miss should allow Lane Kiffin to coach the Rebels in the post-season should he accept the job at intensely hated rival LSU is completely asinine. Absolutely ludicrous.
@MattMoscona So, this circus is Keith Carter’s fault? What a joke. The decision is Kiffin’s. It’s an either/or. Your bs assessment also assumes LSU is willing to allow Lane to coach Ole Miss for potentially a month. You know damn well that’s not the case.
The worst part about this answer from CFP chair Hunter Yurachek was that you know he had that one ready to go when asked about Ole Miss potentially not having Lane Kiffin.
Don’t act as if this is some joke. There’s a lot at stake, including over $50 million to Oxford economy
It is a bit funny how:
• Ole Miss had a better season last year than LSU
• Ole Miss has been more impressive this season than LSU
• Ole Miss was favored to beat LSU today
For whatever reason, voters chose to put LSU at #4 and Ole Miss at #13, so this is an “upset”. 😅
