Meet Our 2026 Summer Interns! 🎉
Evie Clare is a recent graduate of Midway University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Equine Business & Sales and Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Evie has always had a passion for horses but fell in love with the horse racing industry after moving from Michigan to Kentucky. Her love for the sport has only grown as she gains hands-on experience in every aspect of the industry. Evie will be interning with America’s Best Racing this summer.
Andre Tucker Jr. is a rising senior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Statistics & Data Science alongside a minor in coaching. As both an Ed Brown Scholar and a student studying in Lexington, he has gained an introductory understanding of the sport and is hoping to learn more as his interest grows. He has a deep passion for sports analytics and is excited to see how the tools he uses in the classroom are applied to real-world industry settings through Equibase.
Jessica Licausi is a rising senior at the University of Kentucky studying Equine Science and Management. Jessica has always gravitated toward horses and found a passion for Thoroughbred pedigrees in elementary school. Jessica has a handful of published articles with North American Trainer Magazine. She has also worked the Keeneland September Sale 2024 and Ocala Breeders Sale from 2021-2024. Jessica is interning with BloodHorse this summer.
Wesley Stevenson is a rising senior at The University of Alabama double majoring in Finance and Management at the Culverhouse College of Business. Wesley has harbored a passion for the horse racing industry since he was young, further cultivating that passion throughout the years as he gains hands-on experience. Wesley has worked as a hot walker, a sales associate for Taylor Made Farm, and a bloodstock intern. Wesley will be interning with TJCIS and Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation this summer.
