Mississippi can lower car tag fees and provide relief to taxpayers if we get serious about cutting the waste in state government.
"State Auditor @ShadWhite argues that cutting government waste could ease that burden of car tag fees."
For the life of me, I cannot understand why Mississippi's human trafficking fund sent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to a radical anti-ICE, anti-immigration enforcement nonprofit.
As you see below, tons of your money was given to a non-profit called El Pueblo.
El Pueblo actually spends their time going to anti-ICE protests and lobbying against immigration enforcement bill in our legislature. Will post more screenshots in the comments as proof.
Imagine the people that money could have actually helped escape human trafficking.
This is the kind of stuff that defies all common sense--the stuff that taxpayers want stopped.
As Auditor, I will always tell you how your taxpayer dollars are spent, even when it's ugly or uncomfortable for the powerbrokers to hear.
Lawmakers, put a stop to this.
For those interested in reading our full 800-page MOGE report on fraud, waste, and abuse in state government, you can see it here.
This is the kind of report on waste the political establishment tried to ban us from doing.
