I think he should have been left in to face the bottom of the order, but he was never going to see the Brewers lineup a third time.

Why did the Rays get to challenge the play at 2nd and 1st on the double play? Why is it only 1 challenge and not 2? They lost a challenge on Hedges HBP earlier so they only had 1 left. If they lost the challenge at 2nd base…how do they get to win at 1st?
