Coupon for rationed fuel to be used by An Garda Síochána (Ireland’s National Police and Security Service). The coupon was issued under the Emergency Powers Order 1941 and entitled the bearer to one unit of motor spirit.

Small but mighty. Invented in 1899 the humble #paperclip can be found in its thousands in any archive. Unfortunately, they don't age well and can rust & cause damage to paper. This is a good solution to keep the pages together, brass paper clips + a small fold of paper. #EasyTips

It was published weekly on Saturdays in Galway City. Editions uploaded to the online archive (shared with FindMyPast) span 1853 to 1897. When complete it will extend to 1920.
