RCA was created in 2004 to achieve one of America’s most ambitious environmental efforts, the RivCo Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP).
These meetings included discussions with Representative Mark Takano and Brian Nesvik, the Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to advocate for the MSHCP and similar habitat conversation plans nationwide.
RCA joined the National HCP Coalition in Washington, D.C., this week, where they met with Members of Congress and representatives from the administration.
March is #WomensHistoryMonth, a perfect time to honor the achievements and contributions of women who are making an impact in #RiversideCounty. At RCTC and @WesternRCA, these remarkable individuals are at the forefront of project delivery, habitat conservation, and more!
This Black History Month, we celebrate environmentalists of the past, present, and future, who continue to advocate for land #conservation. In 1903, Colonel Charles Young became the first Black national park superintendent, who oversaw what is now Sequoia National Park.
This Black History Month, we celebrate Dr. Wangarĩ Maathai, founder of the Green Belt Movement and the first African woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for her leadership in environmental sustainability and human rights.
