We’ve managed to dodge most of the rain today and had a great time in the Tower of London before a hair-raising time in the London Dungeon. It’s pizza time now before hitting the theatre shortly.
All settled down at the hotel in London after a very busy day. The children have had an excellent time at the science museum, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye. Some tired faces, so fingers crossed for a good night's sleep!
Our hat-trick of Healthy Selfie posts for today. Well done to Hugo from Year 5, who recently pushed his boundaries at a residential weekend run by the charity Visually Impaired Children Taking Action. Hugo did abseiling, ziplining, crate stacking, and rock climbing! 🧗 ☀️
Our first Healthy Selfie post! Well done to Ellie from Year 3 for sharing her jog and walk around Pugneys and Sandal Castle (on such a hot day too!)😎 🚴 🏰
Year 5 had a brilliant day learning about Ancient Greece at Leeds City Museum. The children explored artefacts that were thousands of years old. During the afternoon, the children were able to explore the museum and saw some interesting animals. What a fantastic day!
School attendance is important for equipping your child with skills for life. Resilience, curiosity, and kindness are just some of the superpowers our children develop in school.
Ten hours of sleep, bags pretty much packed and we’re ready to tackle the final day! 🆘 scenario rescue this morning before Bushcraft tribe challenges. We will give an ETA (likely 4:00 - 4:30, traffic dependent) when we have set off later this afternoon.
The pizza ovens have just gone down a storm! Craft camp has taken patience but plenty of para-cord bracelets successfully made (you never know when you’ll need it!)
Breakfast time for the Bushcraft Crew. We’d like to say lots of sleep has been had…. maybe tomorrow! Highlights of today are Tribe’s Got Talent and fire cooking.
It’s time for s’mores round the fire over at Bushcraft. We’ve had a great day fire-making and den-building and are aiming to play some games before we lose the sunlight.
