An Ecumenical service and blessing of the the ribbons took place on the 11th January in the Holy Trinity Church. The ribbons that were placed on the Rotary Tree of Remembrance were blessed on the alter. Prayers were said in memory of all those remembered on the ribbons.

We had such a wonderful day at our Culture Day. Such wonderful music and art from our Westgate Choir and Art classes. A big thank you to the catering team for the delicious food and for all the volunteers who helped on the day.

Congratulations to our Westgate Bowling Team, who won their League Section at the Cork Zone Indoor Bowls.
Our Bowling Club meet all year round on Tuesday nights at 07.30pm – 09.30pm.. Ann Twohig has taken over from Biddy Barret as organiser of Westgate Bowls Club.
