@landon20s@RobertSpearing9 NFL stadiums are becoming less about the sports team they host, and more about the potential for spectacles. The Owners of these teams and the Fans that support them have diametrically opposed visions for these venues.

@NUFCgallowgate As a fan who lives in the USA (meaning I won't have to make this commute on match day) I think this is a good option if they choose to renovate St. James' Park with the recently acquired historic housing. A new stadium would be great, but I don't see SJP staying if they build new
@NUFCMurph Why do people not like this? As a person who works in lighting production for events, I'd like to see enhanced production! I'm sure they won't use it for every match
@lchenal54 Thank you Leo! Your Block-Off to beat the Broncos was one of the most electric moments I've ever seen in person!! Wishing you the best of luck!
@toonchants I've never understood why people perceive elevated production like fireworks, lights, or lasers as "plastic" or "manufactured atmosphere" when it enhances the spectacle of the important match. I don't think extra production distracts from the fan atmosphere.
@Giniesta10 I don't think people understand that you're making the claim that other people believe Newcastle doesn't have much support outside of the Northeast of England. I'm in the middle of the USA and we have meetups for nearly every match!
@mkkid@Magpie24_7 I think they should build 3/4 of the stadium first in Leazes Park and continue playing at SJP. Check out this video https://t.co/8uMTtFGGeG
It gives all the options for keeping the stadium in the City Center, and I think investing in a new stadium is the best long-term solution
