@WetherbyVets continued the losing start to the season, beaten 4-1 by the Harrogate All-stars, I think they had just the 3 ex FL/PL lads in today. It was 1-1 at half time, we created lots of chances, far and away the best performance of the season. #wegoagain 😂

Today we travel the short distance to @WetherbyAthFC where both teams face the tangerines.

30 odd lads with the chances to impress today which is very positive after losing a few players in last nights defeat to injury.

In other news... @WetherbyVets came through a good run out with @WetherbyAthFC 3rds and started pre-season with a 3-2 win. Good performances from our new players and great to have @SkyBet_Dale back in action. Especially as it means I’m not the oldest player again...

@WetherbyVets cup dreams dashed for another season. Beaten 2-0 by a very strong @barwickvets squad. We missed a pen at 1-0. Our depleted numbers didn’t help as three players went off injured in the 2nd half. Gutted.
