To end the celebrations, teachers swapped classrooms to read to different groups of pupils. It was a lovely way to share new stories, new voices, and a shared love of reading for World Book Dayπβ¨
A peaceful moment during our World Book Day celebrations. Pupils enjoyed some quiet reading time outside, soaking up the beautiful sunshine while getting lost in their stories. Sometimes the best place to read is under a bright blue sky! βοΈπ
Lots of laughs during this World Book Day challenge! Teachers hid behind their books while pupils tried to guess who was behind each one. The children had great fun making their guessesβ¦ now itβs your turn- parents, can you guess whoβs behind the book? ππ
Pupils got creative while learning the art of character design! Guided by techniques from their favourite books, they practiced drawing characters, turning World Book Day into a fun lesson in bringing stories to life on the page.
Stories leapt off the page as pupils created their own comics for World Book Day. With colourful illustrations and imaginative storylines, the children showed just how powerful creativity and storytelling can be! π₯
Lights, camera, imagination! Pupils stepped into the role of filmmakers for World Book Day, working together to create movie trailers inspired by books they have enjoyed during their primary school journey. From dramatic voices to creative scenes, the results were brilliant!
