📢 Meet Us This Week!
Join us on the streets of the North-Eastern parts of Littoral Region for another exciting Mobile Caravan Outreach and Community Education Campaign on Menstrual Dignity and Climate Change.
Together, we will engage about 10+ communities in meaningful conversations on the links between menstrual health, gender equality, and climate justice. Through awareness-raising, dialogue, and practical solutions, we are building sustainable solutions for all, led by women, girls, and communities.

RDV with us for a weeklong menstrual equality campaign across rural communities in #Cameroon.
Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld — it’s time to end the pad tax and make menstrual products accessible, affordable, and tax-free for everyone. Menstruation is a necessity, not a luxury. ✊🩸

Youth advocacy is reshaping how gender justice is discussed, defended, and imagined.
Across the Global South, young people are organizing in their communities, challenging harmful norms, and bringing lived realities into spaces where decisions are made.
Check out a featured story on @HiluxFokou by @Fos_Feminista!
In #Bertoua, #Cameroon, he has worked with boys and young men to open conversations about gender, violence, care, and equality. As part of @IamMifali, an adolescent and young women-led feminist movement mentored by @WfacCmr , he has supported grassroots initiatives on comprehensive sexuality education and responses to gender-based violence.
In 2024, at 20 years old, and with Fòs Feminista’s support, Hilux attended the @UN_CSW in person, after following the process virtually for three years. There, he brought community-rooted perspectives into a global advocacy space.
Through Advocacy in Practice, Fòs Feminista supports young advocates from the Global South with tools, knowledge, and language to engage in regional and global decision-making spaces.
Because adolescents and young people do not only need to be represented. They need information, care, autonomy, and the power to shape the policies that affect their lives.
We’re proud to share that Women for a Change (Wfac) has been featured by Global Citizen for our work advancing women’s leadership, SRHR, gender equality & climate justice in Cameroon.

@WfacCmr is bringing grassroots voices from Cameroon into global conversations on gender equality & climate justice.
Shifting power means centering communities, not speaking for them.

Today, we stand in solidarity with FEMNET on the loss of Aileen Ajiwa, a dedicated climate justice advocate.
Her impact will endure. Our thoughts are with her loved ones and the FEMNET community.
Rest in peace, Aileen. Your legacy lives on.
“Believe in the value of your voice.”
Our Co-Chair, Hysantine Arrey, is not only strengthening health systems but also breaking barriers for women in leadership.

Young voices matter too.
Students joined the conversation through a session combining gShe with our call to Redefine Power and Reclaim Our Spaces Differently.
Topics included menstrual dignity, human rights, and fairness.
29 students participated.
Attending #CSW in New York is not equally accessible.
Rising visa barriers, travel costs, and shrinking openness continue to exclude many women especially from the Global South.
Our Executive Director, Dr. Zoneziwoh Mbondgulo-Wondieh(@ZoFem ), explains why Wfac is organizing differently this year.
