@KissMaBahooky@StephenMossGdn@colinrtalbot Generally when I have a picnic I don't only have sandwiches. Pork pies, salads, big scotch eggs, all things you need to eat with a knife and fork or need to slice before eating.
@youstolemine86@StephenMossGdn@colinrtalbot I assume you meant to put this under the moron who said no one should ever be able to have a knife for any reason. Which is obviously a fundamentally unserious position, as I demonstrated.
@owenjonesjourno It is of course right that resources are prioritised where they are most effective. Presumably you'll be in favour of racial profiling in police work on the same principle? If not, why?
@iiwasinthee212 1) cheddar man wasn't black. Analysis of his DNA showed a less than 50% chance he had very dark skin.
2) the beaker people did not replace the indigenous Britons. It was initially thought they did, before DNA analysis showed that the indigenous Britons adopted beaker culture.
@StephenMossGdn@colinrtalbot Never? For any reason? So no knives to cut up your picnic? No cooking when you are wild camping? No knives to do work in the fields? You didn't think this through at all did you.
@Nick_LoGalbo@SandyofCthulhu@rabbriansamuel They worship the god of Abraham, they are very clear about this. They follow a false prophet and deny christ, but they believe they are the true followers of the god of Abraham and their faith is the true faith of Abraham.
@EmbracingTara Once again, corporal punishment doesn't mean just lashing out at your kids when they annoy you. The fact that you have to pretend it does shows that you don't actually have a valid argument against it.
@BlaseNewYorkr@samswoora Mate, newborn stage is grim, - if you don't think it is then you've forgotten or ignored your child. Getting up every 2 hours, constant nappy changes, cleaning up vomit, hours of feeding. It's hell. If it wasn't for you, maybe that's why your toddler is a nightmare...
@jdleggcan@beyondwaiting Yep. This is 100% of their argument. Apparently you either never hit your kids or you beat them with a belt every day for the slightest infraction. Giving them a smack a few times a month when they have done something really bad and haven't responded is apparently not possible.
@glowieboiz@nypost Funny how corporal punishment apparently causes so many problems but crime, antisocial behaviour and mental illness in children has skyrocketed since it became unfashionable...
@BlaseNewYorkr@samswoora And my toddler doesn't sit there and do nothing, that's what newborns do... For the 25 minutes a day they aren't needing to be held, fed, changed, taken to the doctor, throwing up, drooling on you or just screaming for no reason.
@BlaseNewYorkr@samswoora Six months? Your child was walking, feeding themselves, sleeping through the night and out of nappies at six months? Wow. And the length of time is irrelevant anyway. The comparison was between ease of one stage and the other, not the length of time the child is in a stage.
@davenatts@dguk68@SimonMagus@ZackPolanski Mate. Calling people a dumbass when you don't realise that the UK isn't the only country that issues government bonds is a bold move...
And if governments can always pay, why has any government ever defaulted?
