@dontpanicitsaok@JerLevine Bruh, I’m just a drafter like you. Just one who can use logic and understand underdog is a business 😂. Didn’t mean to piss you off, my bad
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks Sorry, you’re right. I forgot the rule where as long as you put “lmao” at the end of every sentence, we overlook the facts and stats
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks And btw what does this even mean, James-Newby didn’t play the first two and got two tackles and a sack in the one he played 😂
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks You can like the guys. I get it, they are fun projects with great stories, especially Uar. But my point in the beginning was that I don’t think it was a crazy or shocking decision to have them not make the cut. Go birds
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks Brother, using 4 DTs is not that many in a rotation. 2023 Milton was our 4th DT and played 42.5% of snaps. 2024 Ojomo was our 4th DT and played 37% of snaps. The 4th DT does and will consistently play
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks Wasn’t that risky, several other seventh rounder are cut every year. You’re just biased to the fun stories that are Weru and Bernard, you probably werent too worried about Wisniewski or James-newby getting picked up
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks 1. Fangio certainly plays his DT 4, Byron Young played 30% of snaps last year
2. Bernard and Weru are back on the practice squad, Howie knows what he’s doing. Teams have their own guys that they’ve seen work throughout the offseason, Uar and Weru weren’t in much risk
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks We would not have enough depth on the line if we kept them, I could understand keeping one instead of 4 QBs but it didn’t happen. I don’t think fans understand how slim the chances of development for these guys are. And their preseason play was god awful so idk. Even Vic said so
The Uar Bernard and Joshua Weru reactions are crazy. Acting like we just cut saquon for christs sake. These two cannot be on a football field rn and may never be able to. They are two projects at a position where the Eagles value a rotation. They are long shots for a reason
@Hurts2BrownFor6@EliotShorrParks This is a contending team who needs depth and contributors. We’ve always placed immense value on DL rotation. And it’s not obvious someone picks them up, we’d obviously like them back if possible. Uar was a late 7th rounder and Weru was undrafted, not like teams were eager for em
@wokeluego@EliotShorrParks Ty was a 4th round pick who played 10% of snaps, could be put it on any given moment if needed, and we rostered 6 DTs. For Mailata, I think the logic is different for OL as a third option should never really touch the field. I just think we loved the story of the project players
