@TonyDasco I find it looks a little too military for me, but perhaps once they have the logo, it will bring it all together 🤞

Status update on the Substack

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

The NHL season starts tonight, and the first article of the new projects drops tomorrow.

What could be better?

Have an amazing season everyone.

@kurri_jari Eric had the highest peak, but Simon had the most consistency. Both suffered from injuries unfortunately.

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@TonyDasco Considering his history of off-ice issues, I don’t see him handling Vegas very well.

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@TonyDasco It happens. There once was a player who struck a deal waiting in the hallway with the GM for the arbitrator to arrive. Considering the process made Tommy Salo cry in his, I can understand why.

With an almost entirely new office staff, looks like they are beginning to put their stamp on things. Feedback I have seen is more negative than positive, but will give the new crew a chance.

@VegasHockey @vixenzs__ Each year, they hold a charity game for local organizations from the area they are from. They raised 74 000$ this year!

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

There is so much into this that goes back 10 years. Legit unreal that he lands in Tampa for his long term deal.

[Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC]

Jeffrey Viel 5 x $2.5M

Tampa Bay

In wanting to unlock their top player, the #VGK locked themselves out of their own offense & prevented Mitch Marner from completing his redemption arc.

@mikecommito Officially, he gave the dollar back!

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@isles72 @mikecommito Years later I once met the trainer for the Nords the year Clark was there. He explained how bad his back was, even if he was still dynamite on the ice. Those back problems didn’t just start after the left Toronto. It was a case of the Leafs trading at peak value for the young guy

@oldhockeycards The creativity

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@vixenzs__ That actually sounds like a lovely summer

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@mikecommito @DetroitRedWings Too bad Devellano isn’t in the shot. He’s the one who made it all happen. If not for him, Mike Keenan would have been the head coach.

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@mikecommito @NYRangers The very next season, chants of “54 more years” began. I don’t wish it on any fanbase, but they are on their way …

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@TonyDasco In a way, it’s the opposite of Harper going to the Phillies. But, if I’m honest, give me the choice between $100-million and winning a championship in any sport, and I will be picking the $100-million 🤷‍♂️

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@VinnysCorner1 Saw them win it. More than once!

[Daniel Christian Gagne @WhatAKnight702]

@mikecommito Lacked people skills but dammit did he ever know his stuff.
