Another reminder that this place has become a cesspit of vile horrors and that there are better places now. Decisions of the knob who owns this now have cost us what was a great resource, place to meet new friends, and somewhere we could hold corporations to account. Join me:

Music will be varied, expect swearing and a terrible attempt at a Neo-Future Southern Gothic vibe and accent.
A pal runs a radio and streaming channels, and after 4 year hiatus my terrible accented alter-ego "Scarlett o'Interfacé" returns tonight from 8pm (UK) to broadcast from her crashed spacecraft out on some terrible planetoid somewhere. (No, not this one)

Quite bizarre watching the footage on the PC/monitor - the brightness is actually blowing out on the phone camera - it's not as bright as it appears in the video in RL, but it was still decent.
@PyramidHead76 Here you go. Running with and without moderate ambient light. It's pretty good. This was a reasonable throw ratio for size/brightness. Colour is good, contrast decent. In-built speakers are OK if you were travelling or going to use e.g. in garden.
@PyramidHead76 Just a harmful freakin' laser. I might look at a laser based main projector in a year or so, but want an ultra short throw for the job that doesn't somehow end up less bright than the current Epson lighthouse thing I have.
@PyramidHead76 Black Friday uninspiring me. Not quite ready to go down the 3D printing rabbithole, so thinking of splurging on a discounted Ankher Nebula Capsule 3 laser... I'm predisposed to naysay low lumens... but.. Laser.
@PyramidHead76 Brighter alternative that is actually cheaper in the sale is the XGIMI Halo+ but it's not laser, and requires a power brick. Swithering between the two.
@PyramidHead76 replaying it to create the videos above I marvelled I was able to figure anything out at all first time around. I was in about a walkthrough from the moment Brink gets killed.
I talked about "The Dig: in my #20games list, emphasising a love of the sound design expanding the atmosphere beyond the low resolution pixels of the screen. The music could be a bit aimless, but was still lush
The SFX tho, I could listen to all day with headphones.
