Reports say a man in a 'precarious' position at #AlexandraPalace prompted a bunch of rail cancellations. But the #Cambridge to London Thameslink line only passes through Finsbury park. Either that's one big man, or one fascinating World Cup match on TV.

Craziest thing happened this morning. I took a train from little #NorthWalsham in north Norfolk to big bad #LondonLiverpoolSt and guess what happened? Trains showed up, left and ran ON TIME!!! Even managed to grab a quick overpriced coffee while transferring in #Norwich.

Baffling... Great Northern has cancelled the next two fast off-peak Kings X-Cambridge trains for a "safety inspection" that miraculously doesn't affect rush hour or slow trains. Crazy idea: USE WHATEVER TRACKS ARE OPEN AND ROLL THE TRAIN!
