@RRachelHolland That’s how it was for me too! If the nurse didn’t ask me about it, I would have never known! I had mild cramping and that was it with the numbing shot! Today I was PERFECTLY fine!! Not a single cramp! Before it was 3-4 days before I was okay!

My ladies with the IUD: I was never told there was a numbing shot they could use. But I was offered it yesterday and I had almost ZERO PAIN!! I had mine taken out and replaced and I have no cramping at all!! Ask about the block!

@The_SSGoepper The nurse came in and said “I don’t see anything about the block on your chart so I assume you don’t get it?” And I said “I have no idea what that is” and after she explained it I was so mad I never knew!! They tell you to take ibuprofen but it’s a borderline surgery!
